'Collarbone' is a limited web series directed by John Bradburn.
The story is set in a small town centering around a mysterious creature, the titular 'Collarbone', who terrorizes the local population by following, chasing and scaring passers-by with strange dances and movements. Some of the inhabitants of the town would seek to solve the mystery of the identity of Collarbone, and some would even try to use its image and notoriety for profit. We also follow the personal lives of the individual characters.

This was heavily inspired by real life news reports of the creepy “Somerset Gimp” who, in recent years, has frightened and harassed members of a small town in Somerset, UK. Videos and photos of the mystery man in a “gimp suit” went viral prompting outrage and intrigue, and consequently, inspiration for this mini-series.
On this particular project I was part of the DIT/editing team!
Part of this involved me being present on certain shoot days - not all - to back up footage and audio files after SD cards became full.
Each day whoever was on set would be responsible for saving and temporarily storing data on their devices (hard drives, laptop) until they could be backed up to a shared OneDrive and potentially other hard drives.
When it came to how and who would edit all of the episodes, we decided to each work on one full episode and collaborate on others, meaning someone would do the first half of an episode and someone else the other half.

Prior to the official shoot weeks we were tasked with creating rough cuts of test footage to get familiar with the Davinci Resolve software and to get a sense of how John would want things filmed and edited for the real thing.
This was a fun and unique experimental phase where we played around with slow-motion footage, handled RAW 4k files, and created TikTok and Instagram promotional content in the form of short video and posters.
