Final year of university group project - 'Factual Film Production' module
As part of a group project, I worked as lighting technician on the documentary 'Beginner’s Guide: A Tabletop Games Introspective'.
(Alternatively titled 'TTRPG' - meaning 'Tabletop Roleplay Games'.)
As part of the pre-production stage our group went location scouting for our film. Following this I wrote down notes and made some sketches regarding the lighting setup that our director wanted and we discussed what the intended tone was to be for the documentary, particularly the interview segments.

Initially, I did not use the 'Amaran' - the large fill light - as I did not have access to it. Early interview set-ups consisted of only two 'Pavo tubes' on C-stands, with one set to a warm orange temperature and the other a cool blue-ish white to neutralise and brighten where needed.
This set-up worked well in creating the desired "dungeon-like" atmospheric effect as we were also filming in a dark, pitch-black room. This lighting correlated with the documentary's focus exceptionally well.
