A TikTok/Reels-style 'Get-Ready-With-Me' vlog showing a 'Day in my Life'
The Backstory of this Mini Vlog
Back in late October, 2023, I decided to use my editing skills to try and create a social media-worthy 'Get Ready With Me'/'Day in my Life' video with the intention of uploading it to my TikTok page.
The video follows me doing my morning skincare routine, choosing an outfit, doing my hair, and going about my day - getting my nails & eyelashes done, going for a wax, and going to the supermarket.
It was filmed (vertically) entirely on my Samsung Galaxy S10e phone and at times with a tripod with a phone holder.
To edit together the footage I used Adobe Premiere Pro as, at this point, I did not know that I could use Capcut to edit footage from scratch.
Alas, the video did not make it onto my TikTok as I did not feel super confident and too much time had passed when I did remember that I had done this and plucked up the courage to post.
